Stephen B. Yarlas, CPA, JD, LLM, 1962-2003, We were all saddened by the untimely passing of our dear friend and partner, Steve Yarlas, on August 11, 2003. Stephen maintained strong personal relationships with each of his clients, as he did with each of us. That makes it all the more difficult to accept his sudden death.
However, as a consummate professional, Stephen knew the importance of securing a team of people capable of continuing services to clients in the event of the unexpected. That is one of the reasons behind the merger of our two predecessor firms in 2000. Stephen worked hard to build a strong organization and left us with the capabilities and resources to serve his clients in the manner that they were accustomed.
Stephen left a legacy of professional service and personal concern for each of his clients, as well as service to the community, which we at YKSM are committed to continue.
